We have unleashed the marketing team. RAKBuzz will now be authored, scripted and posted by the all-female (because we have not had a brave man soldier to stay and sell with us) sales and marketing team.
We proudly represent our 22-year old publication, Raising Arizona Kids magazine and raisingarizonakids.com, our Facebook fans, Twitter followers and YouTube viewers. …but don’t buy yet! We will blog under the icon RAKBuzz ~ anything and everything about what we do and who we meet. We’ll tell you when there is something special happening with our clients, where we go and how we find the market.
MEET THE TEAM

Tina Gerami.
Tina Gerami is our most organized, stunning and stylish production manager. With our magazine for 14 years, she was enlisted from the nightclub my father-in-law, Herb Lieb, and my husband, Bobby Lieb, were involved in — the Jockey Club on Central. She has two vivacious children, Jaden and Loren. Tina is responsible for circling the wagons. She is our ultimate traffic manager for print and web and follows advertisements until they are safely in the design files for print or placed on our website or eBlast.

Susie Drake.
Our team is on the streets. We are made up of:
Susie Drake, our senior account executive, mother of two gorgeous children, Katie and Mason. Susie has been here the longest and actually came back to us after moving to San Antonio, Tex. with her hubby, Scott Drake, who was then on air. She knows advertising, having worked in radio and print for almost as many years as I have. Susie capably handles more than 100 clients in print and online. Her clients include Grand Canyon Railway, SIRRI Rehabilitation, Cigna Medical Group, As You Wish, Mission Montessori and Girly Girlz, just to name a few.

Catherine Griffiths and her son, Harlyn.
The multi-talented Catherine Griffiths, a writer and account executive is also a second timer who returned to us in 2009. Catherine has three athletic children: Harlyn Jr, Hannah and Hunter. Catherine is naturally a good listener and extremely empathetic. This is “old school” for sales executives. She really cares about the needs and success of her many clients, some of which include: Hubbard Family Swim School and Sports Camps , Dobson Montessori, Nanny Exchange, Expect More Arizona, Goddard Schools and Rio Salado.

Brandy Collet.
Brandy Collet, the newest addition to our sales team, has two young children, Gunnar and Taylor. Brandy is competent and quick-witted. She read, subscribed to and loved the magazine and wanted to be a part of our organization. She has comfortably secured her spot on our team and we are delighted with her insight and outlook on what mommies need. She is the quintessential target market. Some of her new clients are The Brainology Department and Montessori Academy, SKORE Summer Camp, Diane Pollack, and Modern Mommy Boutique.
I am MaryAnn Ortiz-Lieb, proud to be one of the founders of our magazine mother of two great human beings, Sean and Juliann, mentor to two great young adults via Arizona Quest for Kids and wife to a supportive and loving husband, Bobby.
We find ourselves in an ever-changing media jungle. In the days ahead, with our typing skills in hand, we will attempt to provide topical script on you, our clients. We will highlight and link to some of our most valued and long-term clients, too. Some of my clients that I met with this week include: Arizona Science Center, Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Litchfield Elementary School District, Every Kids Dentist, AMF Bowling and Grand Canyon University.
Keeping you top of mind,
MaryAnn
